Michelle and I were escorted by two young handsome men to Tahoe for the weekend and left our husbands at home. The first night was an adventure with no hot water but after a late night visit from the security department and then the oncall maintenance people, it was fixed. The boys slept through that part without a problem but the people partying next door right under their window ended up waking Grey up. Luckily, they broke up their party before I had to take Grey over there and tell them that since they woke him, they had to take care of him!!
The next day, we headed to Kings Beach to play at the park and on the beach for the morning. This is where Zippy and I got married (almost 5 years ago!!). It looks a little different in the summer than the winter. The boys had fun digging in the sand and Michelle even taught them how to play badminton when Andrew sweet talked his way into borrowing someone's equipment.
Then, we headed over the mountain into Nevada to visit Jared and meet his little brother Jake. Jake is such a cutie and it amazes me how small babies are after hanging out with our big boys!!
The boys had fun playing in the pool at Jared's Grandma's house and loved showing us their belly buttons (Andrew liked to help Jared find his!)...
After we headed back to North Star, we had dinner and enjoyed a lovely evening at the Chocolate Bar with chocolate fondue and a chocolate mousse martini. We had lots of fun with our little guys but next time they are going to drive us home while we take a nap if they continue to want to get up before 6 am!!
