It's Christmas Time!

Sorry for the picture overload but we had a busy Christmas month! We saw Santa a few times, hung out with friends, ate a lot of frosting (aka decorating cookies), and enjoyed hanging out with family.

Walk to see Santa at our neighborhood school

Zoe wanted nothing to do with Santa!

Ripley and Andrew came over to decorate Christmas trees (instead of gingerbread houses)

Tree is up and decorated...just ignore that it is leaning....
Cousins racing at Grammie's house on Christmas Eve
Zoe keeping up with the boys!
Daddy was on "car watch"

Zoe loved her new suitcase from Grey!
Grandpa and Zoe watching the craziness

Christmas morning!

Zoe made sure Santa didn't leave a drop of "Christmas Milk"

Playing with all the new toys, they must have been really good! :)

We can't go a year without going by the Cielo Circle house

Along with winter in Northern California, comes lots and lots of rain. Which means PUDDLES!!

And hot chocolate!
Cutest. Reindeer. Ever.

Grey & I did a pinterest project :)

Going to Cousteaux Bakery in Healdsburg for breakfast with Santa has become a family tradition for us (3rd year in a row!)

Zoe isn't a big fan of Santa, even with daddy there as backup!

Uncle Tyler & Auntie Rory got Grey the best gift ever-hot chocolate!!
Best. Christmas. Picture. Ever.

Oh Christmas Tree

Luckily, we had a break in the rain and daddy's work Christmas parties and we were able to hunt down that perfect tree. If you know my husband and kids, you know small or even big is not in their vocabulary when it comes to Christmas trees or pumpkins. Grammie came along, too, and helped us find the perfect tree! Grandpa couldn't come; he was too busy preparing his presentation he was going to do at the National Mushroom Association meeting.

On the hunt...

Grammie couldn't get us and all the tree in the picture...hmm, maybe the first clue that it was ginormous??

It took 3 people to cut it down...
Two grown men to hold it while it was shook...
Daddy might need a bigger truck :)
Oops! Daddy's 4 wheel drive wouldn't work and it was so muddy we needed to be pulled out!
Grey getting ready to prep the tree for its new home
Grey trying to figure out how we were going to put the star on top....
Of course, daddy figured out a way :)
By this time, Grey was an expert tree helper so when Grandpa and Grammie got theirs, he was called in for his assistance!

Had to measure it to make sure it fit...

Grey helped haul away the trimmings to the green waste. He is such a big help!

Thanksgiving 2012

We spent Thanksgiving again down in LA with the Deierlings. I hardly see my kids for the whole week and they are exhausted every night :)

We went to Kenzie's school to watch her performance. Grey loved the play area. He made sure to vacuum the ground very well :)
the boat was so much fun too!
Zoe loved being one of the big girls this year
The kids were such a big help this year putting up the lights!

This picture was taken about 2 minutes before Grey ran over and broke the whole sprinkler system. Water was squirting out everywhere, we had to turn off the water to the whole house, and have an emergency landscaper come out! It is a good thing that boy is cute!
Zoe just adored Trevor and vice versa
Love, love, love these kids!
Grey thought he was a big help on the ladder
Trevor, too!
Girls only tea party at Gia and Maddie's house
Trevor gave a robe to Grey and he was obsessed with it. He slept in it every nap. He also loved all of Trev's cool big boy toys :)

Thanksgiving morning surfing! The daddy's went out to ride some waves. While they were out there, some dolphins came up to swim with them!

Not a bad place to have Thanksgiving!

Grey and I snuck across the street to check out the beach (everyone else thought it was too cold). I love this series of pictures, Grey is such a goof ball!

Kona finally helped Zoe get over her fear of dogs

About half way home, we were rear ended. The other car was totaled but ours luckily was still driveable. Grey and Zoe spent our time on the side of the road drawing pictures of the police officers and the accident (notice Grey is still wearing the robe!)

Other than being rear ended, we had a blast again this year. I wish they lived closer but I am glad we get to spend almost a week crashing their house. We are already looking forward to next year!!
