Zoe: Two Months

Dear Zoe,
You are such a fantastic baby! As I am writing this you are taking a nap at the exact same time as your brother-two days in a row :)

A typical day for you right now starts off with daddy getting up with your big brother and you and I stay in bed dozing for at least another hour. We hang out, run errands, play with big brother all morning long while you doze here and there, in the car, on momma in the carrier, or wherever you may be. Then in the afternoon you sleep for a couple of hours, sometimes momma does this with you, too, if I can! We wake up, hang out, do some tummy time. Before we know it, it is time for bed and you are usually out somewhere between 8 and 9 pm. You are still sleeping a big chunk of the night and momma really appreciates that!

You are smiling alot now and starting to "talk" alot. Grey says that "goo-goo-gaa-gaa" means " I love Grey" so he really likes it when you make your cute little noises. You light up when someone talks to you, I just love the way your eyes shine when you engage with me. You are becoming really interested in the world around you, which is good and bad, since it means you would rather be checking everything out rather than sleep during the day :)

You have also discovered your fists. You chew on them like they are the tastiest treat ever! You are starting to reach out towards things, not to grab them but just to touch them, and I think it is still on accident :) You have started pulling your own hair and crying out in pain! Luckily, you let go pretty fast :)

This month has been a busy one. We moved to a new house and went to Yosemite! You are not very much help with the move and we are still living out of boxes because you still need alot of my attention.

It was inevitable that you would get your first cold this month since momma, daddy, and Grey all had it. You were so stuffed up but just wanted to sleep it away.

The only time you seem to get really fussy is when you have gas. You are not easy to burp so that means it usually comes out the other end! It is getting better but you are your daddy's daughter so there may be no hope for you in this department :)

It has been another amazing month watching you grow into our little girl. I can't wait to see what next month has to bring!

Love,
Momma
