Oh, Christmas Tree!!

The weekend after Thanksgiving, Zippy and I took our annual trip out to Sebastopol to check out the local tree farms. It ended up being a beautiful day and we went to three or four different farms just because we didn't want to go home! It has become tradition for us to go to a few farms and once we find our tree, we head to the apple farm where they serve fresh apple cider and hot apple pie. Yum! Yum!

It is a little bigger than we needed but it was just too cute! We had to cut quite a bit of it off to fit in the house and the star still almost scrapes the ceiling....

My mom really wanted to get us a baby's first Christmas ornament but since baby isn't here yet, she found an ornament that reminded her of a fetus!! She is too funny-it is a cute little sweet pea with a baby face and doesn't look like a fetus at all to me!

We are enjoying our last quiet Christmas with just the two of us and dreaming of next year with the little one! It is fun trying to think of family traditions that we want to carry on and new ones we want to start.

Aww, you are too cute! That is a very nice tree. Next year you will have to anchor it to the wall and have no ornaments on it! Haha!

Merry Christmas!
