We went back to Missouri the last week of July for our annual summer trip. Our first weekend was spent at Lake Pomme de Terre where the Owings Family Reunion has gathered for the last 3 years. We had so much fun catching up with everyone. Grey had the time of his life while Zoe and I hung out inside alot. She is not a huge fan of being hot and I was able to read my first book since she was born!

Grey had a blast on the boat. We had a pontoon and two ski boats to play on. Zippy got to try wake surfing, Grey got to jump off the boat, his favorite activity...and they got to tube with Tiffany and Ashlyn.

Grey also went fishing for the first time ever. Zippy doesn't have the patience for fishing so I was surprised to watch the two of them enjoy themselves, luckily, they caught their first fish within 20 seconds or both of them would have found something else to do! I went down to take pictures. Luckily I was there because Zippy couldn't get the fish off the hook so I had to step in. That midwest upbringing comes in handy sometimes!!
It was too hot for Zoe during the day so we attempted an evening boat ride with the kids. She was not a fan of her life jacket and Grey almost fell asleep :)
