Happy New Year!

2009 is finally here, and I still can't believe that in a few months we will have a little one joining our family. Brandon and I are full of anticipation and are looking forward to a great year.

2008 ended with lots of activities with Christmas (the baby already received lots of presents and isn't even here yet...I can't imagine what next year will be like!) and a visit from my Dad who lives in Missouri. It was so good to see him and it is always a great excuse to explore Sonoma County! We headed out to Bodega Bay one day and Armstrong Woods the next. When we weren't out hiking, my dad volunteered to paint the nursery for us. This was such a great help since Zippy HATES painting and I can't due to my 'condition' (that is what the guy helping us at Home Depot called me being pregnant!). We just need to stain the guest room floors that Zippy has been refinishing and we can officially set up the nursery!

Zippy was sick for New Year's so we spent the night in and would have been asleep at midnight except for the neighbors' lighting off fireworks. Hope everyone else had a great time and I am looking forward to 2009!

Leopard Seals(I think) checking out what Zippy was doing

I love my new camera and the zoom!

My dad watching the waves crash-it looks like he is about to be washed away!

Zippy and my dad posing at Salmon Creek on the dunes

Zippy playing like always

Wow, I can see that belly now! Only a couple months to go. My brother is due Thursday and I can hardly believe it! Let's try to do lunch this week before I venture off to Vegas!

Happy New Year!
